Afribitumen has 2 types of bitumen decanters which are used for taking out the bitumen of the drums and jumbo bags and heating up the bitumen using a thermic oil heater. This is an easy operation and reliable system which saves sources, energy and manpower.
Bitumen Drum Decanter are widely used for decanting bitumen packed in steel drums. The working structure is to place the uncapped barrels near the hydraulic arms to be pushed into the heating chamber. The heating chamber includes coils that run thermal oil furnace from them to heat the liquid bitumen below to a certain pumping temperature and then to pump the liquid bitumen into the external bitumen storage unit. Empty drums are pushed to the other end of decanting unit in a continuous manner while new drums getting inside the melter.
Bitumen Jumbo Bag Decanter are mainly used for decanting bitumen packed in jumbo bags.The working Principle is to elevate the bitumen in jumbo bags to the top of feeding port using jib crane, remove the jumbo bag and drop the bitumen block on the thermal oil coil for melting. Then the bitumen fell into the melting pool reheats to a certain pumping temperature, to pump the liquid bitumen into the external bitumen storage unit.
